As Director of Instructional Policy, Ken works with a team responsible for ensuring coherence in the Commonwealth's delivery of instructional support for PK-12 educators and incubating new policies, initiatives, and strategies that support standards-based learning. His current portfolio includes supporting implementation of the state academic standards in Digital Literacy and Computer Science; infusing digital learning and technology in curriculum, instruction, and assessment; developing and deploying e-learning tools and resources for educators; upgrading school technology infrastructure; and cultivating regional partnerships that promote the design and delivery of innovative learning models. He also convenes the state's Digital Learning Advisory Council (DLAC) and chairs the State Action Committee of the State Education Technology Directors Association (SETDA).
