Jennifer Kramer-Wine has spent the past decade working side-by-side with over ten district and organizational leaders to implement policies and programs. Most recently, she worked with New Haven Public Schools (CT) to deepen and extend educator evaluation systems into systemic teacher-leadership pathways. To build this expertise, she has engaged in regular conversations with district and union leaders, led pilot programs, audited hundreds of Student Learning Objectives, and led discussions about and subsequent writing of proposals.
Kramer-Wine has served on several small- and large-scale program evaluation teams, most notably the Denver Preschool Program and University of Southern California’s First in the World grant. She was a founding member of the Regional Education Laboratory – Central, led by Marzano Research since 2012, which convened several Research Alliances.
In her volunteer life, Kramer-Wine serves as co-chair of her daughter’s Local School Decision Making Council (LSDMC) at Pleasant Ridge Montessori, a neighborhood school in Cincinnati Public Schools that serves an economically and racially diverse student body, and as Secretary of the Greater Cincinnati Earth Day Coalition. She and her family also publish Edible Ohio Valley, a magazine that celebrations Cincinnati’s local food culture. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education at the University of Cincinnati; a Masters of Public Administration at Baruch College, which is part of the City University of New York; and is a Ph.D. Candidate in Public Policy and Social Change at the Union Institute and University.
